About Appalachian Dirt Works LLC

Sunbury sits at the fork where the West Branch meets the North Branch, and on a summer morning the river hands the town its fog before the sun burns it off around eight. Appalachian Dirt Works LLC starts mowing about the time that fog lifts, working bottomland soil that grows grass fast and then keeps growing it. Mowing, trimming out the fence lines, edging the walks so the turf stops exactly where it is supposed to. In autumn the leaves come off and get cleared before the first hard rain glues them to the lawn. Two rivers' worth of green to keep in order, one yard at a time.
