About snowmen of stroudsburg

Snow falls on the steep side streets of Stroudsburg and by midnight the hill blocks are one soft unmarked slope, which is beautiful right up until somebody has to get to work. snowmen of stroudsburg go out into exactly that — snow removal for driveways, lots and walkways, plowing and shoveling until the borough can move again. Short and steep is the local specialty: little drives with real pitch, where the push has to go the right direction or you have only made things worse. Cleared to pavement, banked out of the sightline, salt where shade keeps ice alive all day. The name is cheerful; the plowing is not a joke.
