About Mountain Tree Service LLC

By June the ridges around Stroudsburg are so green that the light coming through them turns a shade of it too, and the yards carved out of that forest sit under oaks that were here long before the lot lines were. Mountain Tree Service LLC works among them, pruning for clearance and for health, opening a crown enough that a lawn beneath it will actually grow. Tree removal in the Poconos is often about what a house was built too close to — a white pine leaning toward the bedroom, a dying ash over the septic field — and such a tree is taken apart from the top rather than aimed and hoped at. Storm damage cleanup follows the summer downbursts that come off the ridge and flatten whatever was already weak. Afterward the brush is chipped, the wood is stacked where it was asked to be stacked, and the ground is left the way you would want to find it.
