Mathiesen Landscapes

About Mathiesen Landscapes

April in Cherry Valley arrives as mud and birdsong at once — the ground letting go of winter, first green pushing up through matted brown. Mathiesen Landscapes meets it with rakes and mowers, opening the lawns of Stroudsburg for the season and keeping them cut and trimmed straight through to leaf-fall. Then the calendar turns and the same properties want plowing and shoveling instead, drives and walks reopened after each system. Two trades, one map, learned by driving these roads in every kind of weather. A place looked after all twelve months simply sits differently on its lot, and people notice without quite knowing why.
