Estatement Piece

About Estatement Piece

Spring climbs these mountains slowly: dogwood first along the roadsides, then mountain laurel through the coves above Long Creek, and finally the grass deciding it is time. Estatement Piece shapes properties around that arrival, with lawn mowing and trimming, edging, bed work, mulch and plantings set into red clay that needs help holding what it is given. A hillside lot is never one flat problem; it is grades, drainage, and light that shifts as the ridge turns. Cut, edged and planted with the slope in mind, a yard up here starts to look like it belongs to the mountain instead of arguing with it. That is the whole aim.
