About Geyer Landscaping

Saint Marys keeps its mornings cool, up here on the Allegheny Plateau where summer arrives late and leaves early. Geyer Landscaping works those short, generous weeks, mowing lawns from the streets around the Diamond out to the wide lots where the brick blocks of Erie Avenue give way to woods. There is a particular pleasure in a yard finished on a July afternoon: the stripes laid straight, the edge cut clean along the walk, the clippings carried off. Beds get their borders redrawn, and the grass around fence posts and mailboxes is trimmed back to a line. Spring and fall bring the cleanups, when the lawn is handed from one season to the next in good order. It is ordinary work done carefully, in a town that notices.
