Dittmar's Snow Plowing Pros

About Dittmar's Snow Plowing Pros

Winter arrives early on the high ground above Elk Creek, and it arrives with weight. Dittmar's Snow Plowing Pros keeps the hours nobody else is awake for — plow lights swinging across a driveway at four in the morning, the berm cut back from the mailbox, the walk salted while the sky over St. Marys is still the color of slate. There is a particular satisfaction in a lot scraped down clean to the pavement before the first car turns in. Snow up here does not so much fall as accumulate, storm laid on storm from November into April, and the answer is simply to come back again. Plowing, shoveling, salting, and the return trip after the wind fills everything in — that is the work, and it gets done.
