About ZF Stone works

Springville sits up in the Endless Mountains where hayfields run to the wood line and Meshoppen Creek keeps to the bottom of every hollow. Lawns here are big and plain — a house, a barn, and grass that comes on fast through a short green season. ZF Stone works mows that ground on the rhythm the weather sets, trims tight around foundations and posts and the odd chunk of bluestone the field gives up, and keeps the edge crisp where lawn meets gravel. Fall arrives early on these hills, so the leaf cleanups run right up to the first hard frost. Wide-open Susquehanna County yards look best when somebody has clearly walked every foot of them.
