Nurture the Nature Lawns and Landscapes

About Nurture the Nature Lawns and Landscapes

Springdale is the town where Rachel Carson grew up watching the hillside above the Allegheny come into leaf, and those same slopes still put out spring beauty and trillium long before any lawn has thought about waking. Nurture the Nature Lawns and Landscapes works in that landscape — mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups through the growing months, plowing and clearing snow once the hillsides go bare and white. Yards here run straight up against the woods, so the line between kept and wild is a short one and worth drawing well. Late-season cleanups matter in a town with this many trees leaning over it. Then the first thaw comes up off the river and the whole valley starts over.
