Halfhill's LawnCare

About Halfhill's LawnCare

Southwest Greensburg is built on a grade, and the front lawns terrace up from the sidewalk in neat shelves held by old stone and block. Halfhill's LawnCare works the early hours before the borough heats up, mowing across the pitch, trimming the wall faces, edging where concrete steps cut through the grass. Nothing here is a big rectangle; it is a hundred small yards that each want their own line. Spring and fall cleanups bookend the mowing, and the leaves come off the terraces before they slide down and settle at the bottom. A hillside lawn that looks even from the street took some doing, and that is the part worth taking pride in.
