Wescott's Property Maintenance

About Wescott's Property Maintenance

Waverly's old stone walls hold snow the way a shelf holds books, and up on this plateau the storms that only rain on Scranton come down white and stay. Wescott's Property Maintenance runs the dark hours in South Abington Township when that happens — plowing driveways and lots, cutting the banks back off the aprons, clearing walkways and putting salt down so the first person out the door at six meets bare pavement. Come May the same trucks trade the plow for the mower, and the year turns into cutting, trimming, edging and the cleanups at either end of the growing season. Two very different kinds of work, one standard: the property gets left better than it was found. A drive opened before daylight and a lawn edged sharp in July are the same promise kept twice.
