Bowman Lawn and Snow Service

About Bowman Lawn and Snow Service

The turbines along the ridge lines above Somerset turn all year, and so does the work down below them. Bowman Lawn and Snow Service mows, trims and edges through the warm months, then trades the deck for a blade when the county starts collecting snow by the foot. Nights out on Route 31 in a storm have a quiet of their own — wipers, amber light, the same driveways visited in a familiar order. Come morning nobody sees the six hours of it, only that the drive is clear, the walk is scraped down and the day can start on time. Then May arrives and those same properties want even bands of green cut across them again.
