About Lawnsmiths llc

Spring reaches Smith Township from the south-facing slopes first, greening the ridges above Raccoon Creek a good week before the hollows catch up. Lawnsmiths llc starts the season right there — the first mow of the year, blades set high, the winter mat lifted out and the borders cut back to where they belong. Washington County ground rolls constantly, so a lawn is really a series of small pitches, and holding a straight line across them takes reading the land as much as steering. Through summer it is mowing, trimming and cleanups on the farm lanes and village lots between Atlasburg, Slovan and Burgettstown. A well-mown yard out here reads like an invitation, and that is the whole point of the work.
