Meese Up Your Yard

About Meese Up Your Yard

Summer in Silver Lake Township is water and hillside, Quaker Lake flat as glass at seven in the morning and the Endless Mountains rolling green in every direction while the grass grows hard in the long northern daylight. Meese Up Your Yard keeps pace with it, mowing to the rhythm the season sets, trimming around docks, posts and outbuildings, edging drives and walks, then clearing the cuttings so nothing is left behind but lawn. Properties up here spread out, and a well-kept yard against all that green reads clean and deliberate. Spring cleanup opens the turf after the thaw, and the fall pass clears the leaves off before the first hard freeze. Between Brackney and the New York line, that adds up to a good season's work.
