The Grace Family Roofing Company

About The Grace Family Roofing Company

The first flakes usually turn up under the streetlights on Main Street, dry and small, and by ten o'clock the borough has gone quiet in that padded way only snow can manage. The Grace Family Roofing Company works Shrewsbury through those hours, opening driveways wide enough for a work truck, taking sidewalks down to the concrete, breaking the ice at the foot of the steps where melt runs and refreezes. Southern York County thaws and hardens over and over across a winter, so the salting matters as much as the plowing. Out past the borough the road climbs between orchard rows and hedgerow, and those long lanes get cleared all the way to the mailbox. Morning comes, the town shakes itself out, and nobody has to think about the night before.
