About Longhorn Landscaping

By late October the fields around Shoemakersville are cut to stubble, the Schuylkill runs cold and clear, and frost picks out every blade in the yards along the borough's back streets. Longhorn Landscaping is in those yards then, mowing the last growth of the year, trimming the fencelines, clearing leaves off the turf so the grass goes into the dark months breathing. Through the green season it is a steadier rhythm: cut, edge, blow the clippings, leave the walks bare. Then the first storm rearranges everything, and the truck goes out plowing driveways and lots, shoveling stoops, salting where ice likes to set up overnight. A yard kept all year has a look to it that a rushed one never gets, and it holds right through the winter.
