About Shope’s Landscape Maintenance Inc.

Out toward Walnut Bottom the orchards climb the last easy ground before South Mountain, and the roadside grass grows thick in the runoff. Shope's Landscape Maintenance Inc. keeps properties along that stretch and back into town — mowing, string trimming, edging, mulch beds and cleanups at either end of the growing season. When the mountain sends weather down the slope, the work shifts to plowing lanes, clearing walks and salting where the melt refreezes overnight. A long driveway out here is a commitment in any month, and there is something deeply satisfying about a half-mile lane opened clean to the road. Same properties, same care, whichever season is doing the asking.
