About Dan Steenstra Landscaping

Shippensburg sits down in the Cumberland Valley with Blue Mountain to the north and South Mountain to the south, and the whole valley greens up early between them. Dan Steenstra Landscaping keeps lawns across that limestone ground — mowing week by week, trimming along fence and foundation, edging the walks, shaping hedges, clearing the beds. Spring cleanups begin about the time the orchards blossom on the slopes; fall cleanups run until the last leaf is down along the old King Street blocks. Ground this good grows grass fast, which is a fine problem to have and a standing appointment to keep. By evening a finished yard here holds the light a long while, and looks exactly as it should.
