About Anthracite Tree Care LLC

Shenandoah's streets run straight and narrow between the rowhouses, and the trees that grow here have learned to live in tight quarters — a silver maple leaning over a back porch, a locust wedged between a garage and a wire. Anthracite Tree Care LLC works those close spaces the way the town itself was built: piece by piece, with room measured twice. Tree removal on a block this snug is a matter of lowering rather than felling, and the reward is a yard swept clear by afternoon with nothing on the porch roof but light. Trimming and pruning through the coal-region autumn keep the limbs off the slate and the gutters running when hillside rain comes down hard. And when a storm crosses the ridge and drops half an oak across a driveway, the cleanup is the whole job — hauled out and the street opened back up before dark.
