About Al's Hardscaping & Excavating

Shamokin was built on a slope, street after street stacked up from the creek toward the ridge, and nothing here stays level for long. Al's Hardscaping & Excavating takes on both halves of the year in that terrain — mowing, trimming and cleanups when the hillside yards go green, plowing, shoveling and salting when the grades turn treacherous. Anthracite-country weather is blunt about it: heavy wet snow off the ridges, then a hard freeze overnight to lock it down. Clearing a steep Shamokin driveway all the way to the pavement is honest satisfaction. So is a small terraced lawn cut level on a June morning.
