About Green Edge Outdoor Services LLC

Selinsgrove sits where Penns Creek meets the Susquehanna, and in April the river runs broad and brown past the Isle of Que while the yards in town flush green almost at once. Green Edge Outdoor Services lives up to its name in those weeks, mowing lawns to a smooth finish and trimming crisp borders along the walks of the shady side streets off Market Street. Regular mowing keeps the turf dense, and edging draws the line between grass and sidewalk so precisely it could have been done with a pencil. Come September, when students return to Susquehanna University and the maples begin to turn, the leaves are gathered up and the lawns head into fall looking neat. In a river town, a clean green edge is its own kind of welcome.
