About Rodriguez Lawncare & Landscaping LLC

The Hill Section keeps its old trees, and in high summer the lawns under them live in moving shade — thin in one patch, thick in another, dappled all day long the way water is. Rodriguez Lawncare & Landscaping LLC reads that ground before the deck ever drops, cutting a little higher where the light is scarce and holding the mower straight down the long Mulberry Street frontages. Edges are what make these lawns: a clean seam at the sidewalk, at the bed line, at the curb, so the shape of the yard is obvious from the street. Trimming tidies the base of every trunk without touching the bark. It is unhurried work in a quiet part of Scranton, and it shows in how the block reads on an August afternoon.
