About Northeast Snow and Ice Management LLC

You can feel a nor'easter coming into the Lackawanna Valley before the radar makes it official — the wind swings around, the light goes flat and grey, and the first flakes fall almost politely. Northeast Snow and Ice Management LLC is set up for everything that follows: plowing driveways and lots, opening walkways and entries, treating ice through the long tail of a storm after everyone else has stopped watching. The second and third passes are what matter here, because valley snow drifts, refreezes, and comes back overnight. Salt goes down where the shade holds and the grade steepens. Morning should look completely ordinary — dark pavement, open doors, nothing to think about.
