About SCHUYLKILL Tree & Landscaping

This far up its own valley the Schuylkill is still a modest river, and Schuylkill Haven is built tight along it, canal-era streets climbing the coal-region ridges on either bank. Storms hang up on those ridges and unload, and by first light the borough's steep side streets need a blade run down them. SCHUYLKILL Tree & Landscaping plows drives and lots, clears the walks and porch steps by hand, and salts the grades where a car would otherwise slide back to the corner. There is a certain pride in a driveway opened clean to the pavement, curb cut and all, before anyone has had to think about it. Cold sits in this valley for days after a storm passes, so the ice work carries on long past the last flake.
