Saxton Tree Service

About Saxton Tree Service

The Raystown Branch of the Juniata River bends past Saxton on its way toward Raystown Lake, and in deep winter the whole valley turns still and silver. Saxton Tree Service takes on the snow in the town it is named for. Clearing driveways, walks and paths keeps this small Bedford County borough going when a storm parks overhead. River-valley snow often comes wet and heavy, the kind that is hard on a shovel and harder on a back, so having it cleared makes the morning manageable. When the mist lifts off the water and sun hits the white slopes, the driveways lie bare and dark between the drifts.
