Clean Cut Outdoors

About Clean Cut Outdoors

Saltsburg grew up on salt wells and canal boats, at the point where Loyalhanna Creek and the Conemaugh River meet to become the Kiskiminetas. Clean Cut Outdoors mows and trims in this old Indiana County river town. Lawns on its flats and up the hillsides behind them grow thick through the warm, wet months, fed by all that moving water. A level cut, sharp trimming and an edge you could lay a ruler against: the name says it plainly. On a September afternoon with the light slanting low across the water, a freshly mowed lawn here looks like part of the town's long story.
