Root's Lawn Care

About Root's Lawn Care

Summer takes its time climbing the mountain to Salix, and when it finally arrives the hillsides go a green you can pick out from the next ridge over. Root's Lawn Care works both ends of that calendar, mowing, trimming and edging through the warm months, then plowing and shoveling once the Cambria County winter sets its jaw. Cleanups come in spring, when the melt uncovers everything at once, and again in fall as the hardwoods above town let go. Snow up here gets measured in feet as often as inches, so walks are cleared and drives are opened early, then opened again. Green ground or white, the job comes to the same thing: hand the place back usable.
