About Martin's Outdoor Services LLC

Where Rostraver drops to the Youghiogheny, the Great Allegheny Passage runs the riverbank and the hills come up steep and wooded on both sides. Martin's Outdoor Services LLC works the ground above it in both halves of the year: mowing, trimming and cleaning up yards through the green months, then plowing and shoveling them out once the cold sets its teeth in. Winter here is not always deep, but it is stubborn — a February crust of refrozen slush is harder going than a foot of powder, and it still has to be off the drive by morning. Summer asks the opposite: patience, a weekly rhythm, an eye on the line along the walk. Two different kinds of work, one property at a time, the whole year round.
