About Koteles Lawn Service

When a January storm tracks up the Monongahela valley, Rostraver's hilltops take it first, and the steep driveways go from passable to impossible in an hour. Koteles Lawn Service is out in that, plowing drives and clearing walkways while the township is still dark and Route 51 is still being scraped. There is real satisfaction in a driveway opened to bare concrete before anyone has to leave for work. The same properties come back in April wanting mowing, trimming and clean edges, and the year turns its circle again — snow off the pavement in winter, even grass through the summer. It is one long conversation with the same hills.
