RoseScapes

About RoseScapes

Rose Valley is a borough of stone walls and old mill buildings tucked along Ridley Creek, where the lanes bend under big trees and the light comes down in pieces. Lawns here are small, shaded and uneven at the edges, and they reward patience more than horsepower. RoseScapes cuts them clean, works the borders by hand where a mower cannot reach, and carries the clippings off so the stone and moss keep their look. In May the creek runs loud and the grass never stops; by August the shade holds the dew until mid-morning. The pleasure is in the finish — a lawn edged tight against a flagstone walk, the whole yard reading as one quiet green room.
