About Solid Contracting, LLC

Freezing rain is the real trouble out here, more than the snow — it rides up the Ohio Valley, glazes the hillside streets of Robinson Township and turns a short driveway into something nobody should attempt on foot. Solid Contracting, LLC works those nights: plowing, scraping to the pavement, salting the pitches and shaded curves, moving the piles well clear of the aprons so the next storm has somewhere to go. The township runs on early departures toward the airport corridor and the city beyond, and none of that begins on an unplowed lot. There is a certain quiet in a truck at three in the morning with the wipers going and half the route already behind you. By daylight the streets look ordinary again, which is exactly the intention.
