Gasper Home & Garden Center

About Gasper Home & Garden Center

The first real snow in Bucks County usually arrives overnight and quietly, and by six in the morning Second Street Pike is a white line through Richboro with headlights crawling along it. Gasper Home & Garden Center is out ahead of that, plowing driveways and lots around Northampton Township so a car can back out without a shovel and a front walk is passable before the school bus. Plowing, clearing walks and entryways, salting where ice sets up in the shade of a hedge. Winter here comes as a series of four-inch storms rather than a siege, which makes readiness matter more than endurance. A cleared drive at first light reads well: black asphalt between two neat banks. Richboro, Holland, Churchville, Newtown and Southampton.
