About York Associates PA

East of Red Lion the hills roll down toward the Susquehanna, and the wind that comes up off the water in January puts an edge on everything. York Associates PA works those nights — plowing drives and lots, opening entrances and walkways, laying salt ahead of the freeze so morning traffic finds bare pavement. Storms here can begin as snow, turn to sleet and finish as a glaze, which means heading back out more than once. The measure of the job is simple: a lane opened, a step safe, nobody late. Doing it in the dark is part of the appeal.
