About Shuker Lawn & Landscaping

February wind crosses Blue Marsh Lake with nothing at all to slow it, and it carries snow sideways into every driveway west of Reading. Shuker Lawn & Landscaping meets it with plow, shovel and salt — driveways pushed back to their edges, walkways scraped clean, ice knocked down before it can take hold. A storm out here rarely finishes politely; it drifts back over finished work, and the work simply gets done again. Something is worth standing still for in a cleared lot at dusk, blue light coming down and every surface bare and gritted. Winters in this county run long, and the whole point is that people can get where they are going.
