About Houp Landscaping, Inc.

Down along the Schuylkill the sleet arrives first as rain, and you can practically watch it decide to become winter. Houp Landscaping, Inc. is out when it does — plowing driveways and lots near the river, shoveling walks, salting before the surface locks up. Reading sits low along the water and the cold pools there, so whatever melted in the afternoon is a hazard again by dusk. Clearing it once isn't the job; keeping it clear all the way through the night is. There's a quiet good feeling in a driveway that stayed open for the length of a storm.
