Leonard's Lawn Care

About Leonard's Lawn Care

October along the Allegheny turns the hillsides above Rayburn into a slow fire — oak rust, maple red, hickory yellow — and every one of those leaves eventually lands on somebody's yard. Leonard's Lawn Care handles the fall end of the season here, mowing while the grass still grows and then running cleanups that take a lawn from ankle-deep back down to green in an afternoon. There is a particular satisfaction in the last sweep of the driveway, when the blower quiets and the whole property looks put away for the cold. Through summer the routine is steadier: cutting, trimming, edging, week after week, the rhythm a lawn rewards. Kittanning, Manorville, and the roads out toward Distant all get the same treatment.
