About Bodden Seymen LLC

Rankin holds a narrow shelf above the Monongahela, its streets running downhill toward the river and the old furnaces still standing along the bank. Bodden Seymen LLC cuts and trims the borough's yards — small city lots, corner strips, the steep bit of grass beside a set of front steps. Work like that is mostly detail: a straight line along the sidewalk, nothing left growing through the fence, clippings gathered up and not left for the wind. In June the river valley goes humid and everything grows twice as fast, so the schedule tightens accordingly. A block of well-kept lawns changes the way a street feels, and that is the whole point of it.
