About Punxsutawney Tree Service

Punxsutawney is known for one February morning, but every February here carries weight — wet snow, then ice, then the crack of a limb somewhere up the hill above Mahoning Creek. Around Barclay Square and out the roads toward the woods, the big shade trees hold the town's character, and they need hands on them to keep it. Punxsutawney Tree Service prunes and trims for clearance and structure, removes the trees that have gone past saving, and runs storm damage cleanup when a night of ice loads the crowns past what they can carry. Wood is cut to length, brush is fed through the chipper, and the yard is left flat enough to mow. It is plain, satisfying work: the town keeps its canopy, and the sidewalks underneath stay clear.
