About G.L.S, Lawn Service

Rain reaches Punxsutawney in long gray weeks in July, and afterward everything in the valley grows at once — the yards, the ditch lines, the narrow strip between sidewalk and street. G.L.S, Lawn Service reads a week like that and answers it: mowing the first dry morning, trimming what the deck cannot reach, edging walks back to a hard line, hauling off whatever the storms shook loose. There is a rhythm to catching up, and it runs from the first warm cut of April to the final tidy-up when the leaves are down and the ground goes quiet. Lawn care in this county is a conversation with weather more than with grass. G.L.S keeps its end of that conversation, yard by yard, across Punxsutawney and the towns along the water.
