About Dellavalle Landscaping

June comes up the Brodhead valley as mist, thin and silver, and burns off about the time the first mower comes off the trailer. Dellavalle Landscaping keeps lawns in Price Township, where hemlock shade and mountain soil mean grass grows on its own stubborn schedule. Mowing, trimming and edging make the week, with cleanups bracketing the season at either end. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass along a stone wall, the line clean enough to follow with your eye. Leaves let go early at this elevation, so they get gathered before the ground goes cold and the yard is handed to winter in good order.
