About Taylor Lawn Service

In Lumpkin the ground gives its color away: red clay holding the print of a boot, the print of a mower tire, all the way out past the courthouse square to the county line. Taylor Lawn Service works that soil for the sake of what grows on top of it — mowing, edging, string trimming, and the steady seasonal tending that keeps a yard even from March to the last warm week of October. There is a particular satisfaction in the first pass along a Lumpkin walkway, when the blade lays a clean line between green and orange earth and the whole yard suddenly has a shape. Summer here arrives slowly and stays late, so the work stays patient: cut, trim, blow the clippings off the drive, look back once from the truck. Around the square and out along the county roads toward Richland and Louvale, the promise is simple — a lawn that looks tended, because it is.
