Snow usually arrives here from the west, over the ridge past Minersville, and by the time it reaches the valley the roads have already gone quiet. E and T Landscaping runs through those nights — driveways opened, walkways cleared, cinder and salt on the grades that hold ice the longest. Then April softens the same ground and the work becomes mowing, edging and hauling out whatever winter left behind. Beds get mulched, borders get cut back in, and a yard comes out of the cold sharper than it went under. This is landscaping shaped by a place that asks for both a mower and a plow.
