Scavello Restoration

About Scavello Restoration

The brick of Pottstown remembers the iron years: mill-square rowhomes, stone sills, north-facing steps that hold a glaze long after the street has dried. Scavello Restoration turns to snow work when the weather asks for it, moving it off drives and lots and away from the doors people actually use. Plowing comes first, then the shoveling nobody sees from the road, the walk to the porch, the strip beside the parked car, the ramp edge. Then salt, spread with restraint on the steps and the sloped apron out to the street. It is unglamorous and early, and it makes the difference between a house you can leave and one you can't.
