Rudy's Lawn Care

About Rudy's Lawn Care

Green climbs the ridge in April like a slow tide — bottomland first, then the hedgerows, then the woods high on Bald Eagle. The first mow of the year around Port Matilda is Rudy's Lawn Care's favorite kind of day: dandelions everywhere, the mower loud in cool air, a yard suddenly looking like itself again. From there it becomes a season of mowing, trimming and edging, with cleanups bookending either end of the year. A lawn cut at the right height and finished with a straight edge along the walk will carry a house all summer. Port Matilda, Julian and the valley out toward Unionville make up the route.
