About Kelley's Services

The storm usually announces itself as a gray smudge over the ridge around suppertime, and by full dark Port Matilda is quiet, lit, and filling in. Kelley's Services works those hours — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks, keeping the borough's short streets and the drives along the valley passable while the snow keeps coming. It is storm-by-storm work: one push at midnight, another at four, a last clean pass when the sky finally empties itself. There is real pleasure in watching the first vehicle of the morning roll out over bare pavement. Winters here offer plenty of chances to earn that moment.
