About JB Landscaping

Port Carbon sits in a notch where Mill Creek runs down to the Schuylkill, its streets stacked narrow and steep against the mountain the way coal-region boroughs were built. Lawns here are small and particular — front strips, side yards, the green patches behind the row homes — and JB Landscaping cuts them with the attention a small lawn deserves. Trimmed along every step and wall, edged where the grass wants to creep out over the pavement, tidied up before the truck moves on. Spring cleanups pull the winter grit out of the beds, and fall brings the leaves down off Sharp Mountain in waves. On a June evening, with the whole borough freshly mowed, the hill above town looks like it never held a culm bank at all.
