About 3 Brothers Land Management and Tree Services

This is where the Allegheny is still small enough to step across in places, running north through Port Allegany between hills of hemlock and hard maple. The forest here does not stop at the property line — it leans in over the driveways and the woodsheds and the back corners of every lawn, which is a fine thing right up until a leader cracks under wet snow. 3 Brothers Land Management and Tree Services works that edge: tree removal near the house, trimming and pruning to open a yard back up to the sky, and storm damage cleanup once the plateau has finished throwing weather down into the valley. There is pride in the tidy version of a rough job — stems cut to length, brush chipped, ground left walkable in work boots or slippers. On the next clear night, the opening is wide enough to see stars through.
