About Lokuta's Garage Corp

Pittston sits where the Lackawanna meets the Susquehanna, with streets that climb straight up off the water — the kind of grade that turns two inches of snow into a genuine problem. Lokuta's Garage Corp is out on those nights, plowing drives and lots, opening a path to the door, salting the hills so a car can get out and up come morning. Storms coming down this valley change character in an hour: wet and heavy at the bottom, dry and drifting on the ridge. Clearing a steep drive to bare pavement while it is still dark is a good feeling that never really wears off. Snow work covers Pittston and the surrounding Luzerne County towns, including West Pittston, Duryea, Avoca and Exeter.
