Lawn Sense

About Lawn Sense

Half of lawn care in Pittsburgh is knowing when: when the ground in Regent Square has dried enough to cut without tearing it, when a March warm spell is lying to you, when a Thursday night squall means a Friday that starts in the dark. Lawn Sense works to that clock, mowing and trimming through the growing season, edging the walks, clearing leaves in the fall, then plowing driveways and salting steps once the cold takes hold. Dew burns off these shaded blocks slowly, so the first cuts of the day wait their turn and nobody rushes the grass. It is unhurried work delivered on time, which is a harder trick than it sounds. What it leaves behind is a yard that always looks like somebody is paying attention to it.
