About Kimicata Brothers Inc.

Stanton Heights looks out across the Allegheny, and for a couple of weeks in late October the whole valley below goes rust and gold. Kimicata Brothers Inc. keeps yards in that part of the city — mowing, edging, trimming and gathering leaves while the season lasts, then plowing driveways, shoveling walks and salting the stairs once the hill ices over. The streets up here bend along the ridge and the properties step down behind them in tiers. A clean edge beside a sidewalk and an open drive in the dark are two versions of the same attention. A neighborhood keeps its shape because somebody is out in it.
